Miku's gaze locked on her for a long moment. The two stared eachother down.... if it'd been some sort of cartoon, steam would probably be coming out of Both of their ears.
"Why the hell are you making such a big deal about this, Miku?! So, I went out with the guy. That was in the past, we're not together anymore! Now, me and him are just... Friends! he's just my Ex!"
Miku's gaze sharpened again. "'Just' Friends, Rie? It sure as hell doesn't Seem like you two are JUST friends! You see the way he looks at you and touches you? He wants you back, Rie."
She fell quiet for a moment, but her gaze held still and cold on him.
Down the hall from the duo's room, the six others.. Bou, Kanon, Takuya, Rii, Kaede, and Yuuki, all peeked out.... they could hear Miku and Rie's little.. or... not so little argument,.. all too perfectly from their rooms.
Rii nibbled on her lip, holding Takuya's hand softly. "They argue like an old married couple..." she mumbled.
Kanon looked over at her, then back towards Rie and Miku's door. "I think they've gone Beyond arguing like a married couple.."
"I think I finally get it," Miku began, crossing his arms tight over his chest. "You still like this, Yuu guy, don't you? You've got feelings for him... Let me guess.. You, for some reason, HAD to break up with him, but you didn't really want to. Then you finally moved on, but now that you're seeing him again, you've remembered the love you had,.. Have, for this guy. And He Obviously still wants you: I don't know if you can see it, the way he acts and talks around you, how he looks and touches you. And you don't stop him, because you still like him. Well, fine then. I wont stand in the way of who you love, alright? You can go on and be with him.. your old, High school lover. I don't really care anymore."
Rie's eyes went wide... as did the eyes of the rest of the two's friends down the hall. But Rie's eyes went sharp quickly,.. but before she could say a word, Miku stormed out of the room.. the six others smart enough to duck back into their own rooms before Miku noticed them eaves dropping.
"MIKU!" Rie hissed loudly.
WHAT THE HELL IS HIS PROBLEM?! This is fucking INSANE. He's got one major stick up his ass at the moment,.. and if he doesn't, he sure is hell is about to,The guitarist stomped out of the room after him.
Yuu peeked out of his room after hearing Miku storm past. "Nani..?" He paused, seeing Rie. He took her hand softly, looking over at her with a dim little grin. "Hey, Rie..."
So, not in the mood. Rie slapped the other's hand, pushing him away without a word. He grabbed her elbow. "Rie, what's going on?" He looked at her, raising a brow. She glared at him sharply, almost seeming to snarl a bit. He looked a little shocked... taken off guard. He let go of her elbow without a word, and she stormed off, angry that now she couldn't figure out exactly where Miku had gone.
By now, Miku had made his way outside, following one of the cobble-stone paths to a lake... the skies where gray, and water droplets where sprinkling down lightly,.. there was a stinging, cold breeze going by as well. Out of his pocket, he pulled out a little package from his pocket,... obviously the case to a necklace or bracelet. He dropped it lazily on the ground, then trudged away a bit, hearing the package slip down through the grass a bit, hitting one of the stone rocks that outlined the lake, stopping it from going in.
He walked on, stopping finally, by the other end of the lake, plopping himself lazily on a bench, leaning down, his elbows on his knees, fance in his hands. Had he just...? He'd just broken up with her,.. hadn't he?
Rie, for a moment, was glad that Miku wasn't good at hiding his path in the dirt, and over the stone. By now, the sprinkle from before had picked up a bit, thick water droplets coming down and hitting her face, even with the cover of the trees over her. The rain hit her even harder, as she reached the lake finally, the trees no longer there as her cover. She grumbled, the dirt slowly turning to mud. She looked around, feeling her hair stick to her face. She grumbled, debating just turning back.
But, she paused, catching site of him on the bench through the trees. A glare sharpened in her eyes once again, as she started forward through the grass. But again, she paused,... something gold-colored catching her eye by the lake. She looked over, just for a glance,.. and it was all she'd needed, to see her name, written in black script on the gold ribbon, on the black box. She growled a bit. "This was from you, Wasn't it, Miku?" She hissed a bit, sliding over to the box, picking it up, dusting off the box from the dirt it'd collected. "Really decided to just throw it away, eh?"
Her words however, fell on deaf ears. Miku just stared at the ground blankly.
Rie grumbled. "Such an ass.." she mumbled under her breath, as her finger tugged at the gold ribbon, untying it. She pondered for a moment, before just nodding, grumbling random curses against Miku under her breath, as she pulled the lid open.
Her curses fell silent, and she fell still.
The mix of black, and crystal diamonds sparkled at her, even with no sun or moon out to light them. The silver chain was perfectly clean,.. not a spot, a scratch, dent... the shape of the guitar charm was perfectly matching that of her own guitar,.. and where on her guitar there where the white and black checkers, the diamonds of the same color sparkled, along with little white diamonds going up the neck, marking the dotted frets. For something so small, it was beautiful. The charm itself rested over a litle mirror, and with that mirror, she could see the something slight on the back.
Silently, Rie turned the charm over with her other hand, looking to see both of their names, carved and filled with black on the back of the guitar's body, a little, and a little Nyappy face on the neck. Her mouth had fallen slightly open. Rie finally blinked to reality, her hand moving to cover the necklace with the boxes lid, shielding it slightly from the rain water.
She raised the box to eye level, peeking the lid open slightly to look at it again. Even if the necklace wasn't gold, it was obviously quite a bit of money,.. plenty of diamonds in that simple charm alone. The necklace was beautiful.. and... something she hadn't exactly expected from Miku.
Slowly, she began to trudge on through the wet grass and dirt, stopping just behind the bench where Miku sat.
"Miku..."
He didn't even have to look up at her. "I got it a week ago when I went back to town to get me and Kanon the food we wanted. I'm sure you don't want it now though. You can get rid of it or something...." he sounded half dead at the moment.
She didn't know what to say now. ..She was still mad at him, for what he'd said earlier,... but.. now.. she was so confused.
Just put out your mind, Rie, she told herself, slowly, walking around the bench to sit next to him.
"Miku...."
There was one thing she had to do first. She raised her hand, and slapped his cheek harshly, getting a shocked look out of him at first, before his eyes went distant again, as he stared at her.
"What the hell was your problem, earlier?! Miku, I don't love Yuu, at all. Trust me, when I say, that if I loved him, and wanted to be with him, I would be. But I don't love him Miku. And I don't care if he loves me, because for all I care, he can keep loving me, because he's not going to get that love back! It's his own damned fault if he keeps loving me. Miku, I don't love him, I love -you-, and you'd damn well better know that." She glared at him slightly. He just looked at her silently, before looking off to the side.
She grumbled.
You are the most.. difficult, pain in the ass...."Miku.." she sighed roughly, looking down at the necklace box in her lap. She opened it again, fumbling with it for a moment to get the necklace out of the box... before undoing the clasp, moving it around her neck, her hands working behind her neck to close the clasp once again, the box resting on her lap. Finally, the little guitar hung around her neck, her hands moving back to her lap.
He'd looked back, his eyes moving to stare at the guitar for a moment, his brows furrowed.. slightly confused.
She sighed again. "Miku, get this through your head, right, now: I. Love. You. Got it?" Her hand slowly moved to touch the guitar. "And I'll be wearing This, to prove it." She felt the lightest grin slip onto her lips,.. couldn't exactly stop it, either.
Akiharu finally raised his gaze to look at her. He sat silent for a moment, before just looking away again.
Rie grumbled, obviously irritated. "Dammit Miku! Get your head out of your little world and pay attention, will you? Look at me..." She said.
Hesitantly, he did.
She looked at him, keeping quiet for a moment as she pondered over her words. "As.... horribly Corny as this sounds, this necklace is literally, the nicest thing, Anyone, has given me. Sure I've gotten things more expensive, but this, has a reason behind it..." She let her hand slip down and grab his,.. slightly roughly, at first, though her grip loosened. He watched her.
She just stared at him for a moment,... he kept horribly quiet. She grumbled, letting go of his hand, and standing up. "I'm just going to go, since you Obviously are against talking at the moment. Come find me when you're finally ready to talk,... and dammit Miku, keep it in mind? If there's Anyone, I'm in love with, it's you, even if you are being a total pain in the ass at the moment," She grumbled, turning to walk away.
Finally, he stopped acting so dead, reaching out, and grabbing her hand, standing up as he did so. "Rie," he began, looking down at her now. She blinked once, looking at him carefully.
He hesitated, before speaking again. "I'm sorry, for what I said earlier..." he began. She just blinked. He.. had to start somewhere, she supposed.
"I don't know why the hell I got so pissed.. I just..."
"You where getting a little jelous," She broke in.
Miku bit his lip. "No.. well..." He pondered. "I guess, I was." He mumbled, voice low. A little smile flickered on Rie's lips. "...And no.. I really,.. Really, don't think I could live with myself, If... I just left like that,.. leaving you with him... Rie... once again, having to go back to the corny comments.." he paused, the light little grin of his on his lips for a moment.. "You mean a hella lot more to me than the others would like to think,..." he said, the grin finally sticking.
Rie just rolled her eyes. "Corny,..." she said, moving to lace her fingers with his.
"But, I know."
Miku just grinned, leaning his head down, pressing his lips softly to hers.
For a moment, Rie kissed him back, before pulling away. "Hey, Miku. Promise me something," she began.
He blinked at her, puzzled. "What?"
"...Don't go jumping to conclusions anymore, alright? Before you go off saying I'm in love with someone else other than you... talk to me? It's not like I'm going to totally blow you off," she grinned.
He just smirked a bit. "Hm.. I'll work on it."
"You'd better," She said back, before leaning back up, pressing her lips to his once again.

Authors Notes: Whoo! The ending to that? Totally corny and bleh. But, meh. Oh well. Once again, this is what I pictured happening in a part coming up in the future in the RP me and Koji do together ^-^ [If you've noticed, I usually do the things that WILL happen,.. or my interpretation of what is going to happen. She usually writes up things that HAVE happened, just puts them in story format. xD But yeah.
I never know if I'm doing Rie's personality right,.. it's weird playing someone else's own character. But yeah. Anyway. xDD;;;;
For people that don't know and are sort of confused, maybe this will clear things up;
Rie is a made up character, in a made up, all girl J-rock band. Miku, of course, is from a Real J-rock band, by the name of An Cafe. Me and Koji love to RP with the characters, not just these two, but... many, but, these two sort of started it all. Well, Rie and Miku, in our RP, have been going out for a while now. But recently? Rie's manager has been working her and the rest of the band really hard. So, when they got the chance, Miku payed for them all to go to an old, traditional inn in Kyoto. [Yes Koji I just decided on exactly where XD], away from the usual craziness of Tokyo. well, on the night they got there, Rie's ex boyfriend, Yuu, ends up coming to stay at the inn as well. Right off the bad, Miku didn't like him. After about a week or two of Yuu being there, Miku finally snaps. And that's where this fic picks up ^-^
Anyway, yeah. ^-^ comment as you wish, blahh blahh. <3
Oh, and the music thingu? Has like, nothing to do with the fic. XD Tis just what I'm listening to at the moment. xD;
